My most memorial moments of my life.

My Mum's Death

I was 9 mouths old when it all happened, it was a sad moment, I couldn't really understand because I was so young. It was my Mum, she had died of cancer. I don't have much memories if her but I love it when my Dad's partner Jenny tells us stories about her. Some are happy but some are sad.

We all moved on Dad got a girlfriend and we moved to Burnham. We sometimes go see her on her Birthdays, Anzac Day and Christmas Day. I really miss her sometimes I wish she could somehow come back to life but I am older now and I know that will never happen.

My First Day Of School


St Bernadette's School. It was my first day starting there,it was a big school, big enough to                make preschool look like a doll's house. I started in room 1 with Miss Satherly. I was in that class room for about a week and then I got moved to room 7. I used to think that I got moved because I was too smart, but it was because there were too many people in room 1. I made friends instantly with my best friend Paige. We would always play together a break times, and sometimes we would have sleep overs at each others houses,  I loved that school.

Family Trip To Australia!

In 2008 it was my first time going overseas to Australia. I was so excited and it had been  ages since I had last gone on a plane. When was landed a Sydney Airport I couldn't wait to get off the plane and explore another country. We finally got let off the plane and walked so far that it seemed like forever, to a lady at a desk. We went through all the sercirty things and we could finally go. We used a rental car , it was a red van. We set off ad looked around Sydney. It was getting late and we hadn't had any  dinner, so we stopped at a near by Domino's Pizza. It didn't taste like the ones in New Zealand but it was enough to fill me up.we had our pizza there and then headed to the old coast . We stayed at a moral called Magic Mountain, it was fancy. I share a room with Reese , and Kale and Tyra (my brother and sister) shared a room. I remember  none of us wanted to share a room with Kale and we had a argument about it. In the morning we got to choose 3 theme parks we wanted to go to we choose: Water World, Movie World and Sea world we also went to the Zoo. I loved it in Australia especially getting to spend time with my family.

Ki Ora, my name is Deonie and this is my life story.

I am 12 years old and is a year 8 at Burnham Primary School. I have 5 sisters, 1 brother and a niece. I originally come from New Zealand and my culture is Cook Island Maori. At home I live with my dad(Shane), four of my siblings(Reese, Kale, Tyra-Lee and Malhi Khol) and my dads partner(Jenny), my mum had died when I was a baby of cancer but I still think of her. I love playing sport especially Soccer me and my sister Reese got into the selwyn rep team twice and have travelled to Nelson and Blenheim for it. Soccer is not the only sport I play I also play softball, touch and a little bit of netball. My dad works in the Army and gets to go to places like Afghanistan. I have made some new friends at Burnham School they are Sophie.C, Sophie.M, Isabell and Taleah. I hope you enjoyed my story and learnt more about me!
